‘Lockdown’ is a social documentary that takes place in Greece, at the island of Chios in Northern Aegean.

Only a glimpse away from the Turkish coast, the overcrowded island was ready to explode long before the news of the pandemic, with refugees reaching 1/3 of the total population.

Reflecting on pre-existing social conflicts that got out of control during the lockdown, the film adopts a personal perspective to reveal a society on the edge of a nervous breakdown.
