'' There is no social or political repression that cannot be released in the film world ''
I am a filmmaker from Athens, currently living in Berlin. I studied media and film in England, and I work in the film and TV industry for 15 years.
I have great experience on set and I have organized and coordinated many domestic and international productions.I speak Greek, German, and English on a professional/native level, and I look for collaborations with people who can move me one step forward, both as a person and as a filmmaker.
Last year, i released my debut feature documentary 'Burning from the inside' on the Greek-German neo-nazi scene. The film was screened in more than 30 cities around the world, while won two international awards in Jakarta and San Francisco.
At the moment, i am on development for my new film 'Daymare', which will be released in 2017.
Since i came to Berlin, i focused on film and video activism, because i think that we -filmmakers- can actually affect and change the world. I am a member of the German video collective 'AK-Kraak', founding member of the Greek-German culture association and i teach film at 'Film Arche' in Berlin, the first (and biggest) self-organized film school in Europe.
I am passionate in what i do, dedicated and creative.
I love working in multi-cultural environments, and i wish that one day the world will be a safe and nice place for all.
